What To Expect On Your Outdoor Shoot
Never done a photoshoot before? Do not worry.
It always helps to know what you are taking on. So here is what you can expect throughout the process.
From the moment you reach out to Mark Holland Dog Photography, it is designed to be a smooth and enjoyable process.
Use the Contact Page
The journey begins on my Contact page. Get in touch and note which package(s) you are interested in. If you are not sure, you can select more than one. Take a moment to explore the About Me page too. It’ll give you an idea of who I am, my style, and why I am here.
Free Phone Consultation
Once you’ve submitted your details, we’ll arrange a convenient time to chat by phone. Don’t worry; it’s not a serious "business call." During our call, we’ll cover all the essentials: We’ll set the time and location of the shoot - whether it’s your home or a sprawling park. I’ll ask about your dog’s personality and quirks. I’ll explain what happens on the day, so you and your dog feel ready. Lastly, we’ll discuss what to bring - treats, toys, or their fanciest collar! Oh, and a warm coat for you!
Pre-Shoot Email
While it is not complex, I do not expect you to remember everything. I’ll send a follow-up email outlining everything we discussed - plans, tips, and a kit list. I hope this helps you to relax and look forward to the day.
The Shoot!
When the big day arrives, we’ll take everything at your dog’s pace. First, we’ll let them get comfortable with me and my camera. Then, we’ll dive into capturing their personality—whether they’re a sprinter, a sniffer, or the reigning king/queen of sofa naps. Expect portraits, action shots, and a lot of tail wags. Exactly what we get will depend on the location, weather, and your dog.
Image Delivery
you’ll receive access to a private online gallery no more than two weeks after the shoot. Here, you can download high-resolution images and select favourites for printing (depending on your chosen package).
Enjoy Your Images
Now for the fun part - enjoy your dog’s photos! Show them off on social media (don’t forget to tag #MarkHollandPhoto) or frame them to admire daily.
